Since talking to SFC(R) Riley on the phone a few weeks ago I have done some searching on GWS/GWI and to be honest what I have read upsets me.  All of the different opinions and studies, etc.  Personally I don't think it should be that hard to find the cause, but that's my humble opinion.

SFC(R) Riley asked me to ask around to see if anybody else is "sick".  He is not only curious but wants to try to get anybody else who is sick some help with their VA claims.  You can
e-mail him
or fill out the form I created.

Below I'll list websites that offer information on GWS/GWI and also the phone number(s) to get a Gulf War Physical if you have not yet gotten one. And  from asking around I was told EVERY Desert Storm Vet should get the physical regardless of if you show symptoms.

I probably will not be adding anything else to the other GWS page because I have realized I could just keep adding and adding and I doubt a real answer will never be found.

Ken Maricondo mailed me some  maps of where A 6/52 was when the Khamisiyah pit was demolished (he asked for them after he got the letter from the DoD about Alpha being near the pit).  I scanned them and have them online, but they did not scan well. Click here to see them.

I used to be one who thought all the different guestbooks were overkill, but with the variety this site has started to cover I've added one here too.

As usual e-mail me if you think anything should be added or removed.

Phone numbers to call for the Gulf War Physical (and  the person who sent this to me said that spouses and children should have the GW Physical too.  Regardless of if you were married at the time of your service or children were born before or after.  All of your dependants are authorized the GWP.)

If you are active duty:  1-800-796-9699
If out of the service: 1-800-749-8387

or call your local VA and ask for a GW Physical and to be put on the registry.
